The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) encourages "bicycling as an alternate mode of transportation to motor vehicle travel. [Members of the NHTSA also] work with partners to reduce injuries and fatalities through education, enforcement, outreach, and legislative efforts." These brochures and videos were designed to help adults and children learn safe cycling habits.
